There is a 50% charge policy for non attendance. As you can understand we also have bills to pay and the allocated slots could have been given to another person which needed the help.
If you are feeling ill, please dont attend the appointment, we will always consider specific circumstances if they arise but its capital that we protect vulnerable patients from getting exposed to potentially harmful viruses.
If you are looking after small humans you are welcome to bring them with you.
Please arrive to the clinic at least 10 minutes before the appointment, there will be a sitting area just next to the treating room.
Depending on where your problem is, please beare in mind that the therapist might need to assess the area. This might involve you removing some clothes and exposing some areas of your body so please dress accordingly. If you have any modesty concerns please explain them to the therapist and rest assured your choice will always be respected.
Alternatively we can always provide you with a towel or dressing gown to respect your modesty.
Before the session commence you will need to fill a consent form in which you agree to some legal terms that liaise between the patient and the osteopath during the treatment.
As you are a new patient to the clinic, we will need to collect some previous information about your previous medical history. This will involve being asked some questions that although might not seem related to the problem you are having, they are still important for us to consider in order to give you a safe and effective treatment based on a thorough diagnosis.
Your osteopath will conduct a physical evaluation tailored to your condition. This may involve assessing posture, movement, joint and muscle health, as well as testing strength, flexibility, or other relevant factors. When necessary, medical assessments like blood pressure checks or organ evaluations may also be performed.
Based on the consultation and examination, your osteopath will provide a diagnosis. If additional medical care or imaging is needed, they may refer you to other professionals. Osteo Care Clinic collaborates with healthcare providers to deliver safe and effective care tailored to your needs.
Treatment at Osteo Care Clinic is customized to address your concerns, often involving hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, muscle massage, and soft tissue work. Advanced exercises may also be included. Your osteopath will explain each step of the process, adjusting techniques to ensure your comfort.
After your session, you’ll be asked to get dress and leave the room. The payment will be collected by the osteopath before you leave. You will be always welcome to relax in our waiting area. We always encourage ongoing care through lifestyle advice and personalized exercises. This holistic approach promotes recovery, prevents recurring issues, and empowers you to manage your health.
We suggest wearing comfortable clothing like shorts and a t-shirt or sports bra for your session. Private changing rooms are available, and our team will accommodate your preferences to ensure you feel at ease during your appointment.
